Το έργο με τίτλο “ΑΝΑΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΗ ΚΤΙΡΙΟΥ ΚΕΓΕ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΤΑΤΡΟΠΗ ΤΟΥ ΣΕ ΕΙΔΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ” περιλαμβάνει: 1. Την εκπόνηση των απαιτούμενων μελετών. 2. Την κατασκευή του Έργου εντός οικοπέδου ιδιοκτησίας Υπουργείου Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης η οποία έχει παραχωρηθεί ως προς τη χρήση του στο Δήμο Ρεθύμνης προκειμένου να κατασκευαστεί και να εγκατασταθεί το Ειδικό Εργαστήριο Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης καθώς και το Ενιαίο Ειδικό Γυμνάσιο Λύκειο. Η έκταση που έχει παραχωρηθεί έχει εμβαδόν 9763,64 τ.μ. και βρίσκεται στη θέση “ΚΕΓΕ- ΑΓΙΟΣ ΜΑΡΚΟΣ” στην κτηματική περιφέρεια της Κοινότητας Ρεθύμνου, Δημοτικής Ενότητας Ρεθύμνου, Δήμου Ρεθύμνου και εκτός ορίων οικισμού. Εντός της έκτασης υφίστανται κτίσματα συνολικού εμβαδού κάλυψης 1.182,00 τ.μ. τα οποία κατασκευάστηκαν ύστερα από την έκδοση της υπ’ αριθμό 696/78 οικοδομικής άδειας. Τα υφιστάμενα κτίσματα θα ανακατασκευαστούν ενώ θα γίνει και προσθήκη κατ’ επέκταση, συνολικού εμβαδού 3.122,00 τ.μ..
