På området väster om Litteraturgatan, mellan Backadalsgatan och Wadköpingsgatan planerar och bygger Egnahemsbolaget och Framtiden Byggutveckling AB c:a 750 nya bostäder, fördelat på 11 kvarter. Denna upphandling omfattar kvarter 8 som består av 73 lägenheter, varav 8 BmSS-lägenheter samt tillhörande bostadsgård. Projektet innefattar även utbyggnad av kvartersgata och 17 markparkeringar samt ombyggnad av gångväg. Entreprenaden kommer att genomföras som en totalentreprenad till fast pris.
