Description
Die Möglichkeit zum Gravieren, Schneiden und Markieren von Implantatwerkstoffen sowie von verschiedenen Bauteilen stellt am IIB e.V. einen Arbeitsschwerpunkt dar. Zum Ausbau dieser Technologie plant das IIB e.V. die Beschaffung eines Lasersystems auf Basis einer CO2-Laserquelle. Das Lasersystem soll in anspruchsvollen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivitäten eingesetzt werden. Ein relevanter Anwendungsbereich ist u.a. das Zuschneiden von Flachproben verschiedener Kunststoffe wie bspw. PMMA, PP, POM sowie das Gravieren von metallischen Oberflächen. Darüber hinaus soll das Gerät die Möglichkeit bieten, Implantatkomponenten aus polymeren Werkstoffen gravieren und schneiden zu können. Eine variable Laserleistung und Schneidgeschwindigkeit sowie eine hohe Reproduzierbarkeit der Ergebnisse nehmen hierbei eine zentrale Rolle ein.
