Description
Description: Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency Land and Joint (FMA) has entered into a framework agreement with Rheinmetall Land Systems (RLS) for the procurement of FUCHS CBRN Post Production Support. The agreement includes lifetime support of FUCHS search armoured vehicles and includes technical support, engineering support, purchase of original and approved spare parts, overhauling components, project support, regular updating of the laboratory, training as well as obsolescence management. The procurement is for military specific defence material, where RLS is the only supplier who can offer the necessary spare parts, services and technical support connected to the system. Procurement procedure: The procurement was carried out as a direct procurement in accordance with the Regulations on Defence and Security Procurements (FOSA) § 5-3 letter c as well as PPR § 15-1 (4). Reasons for the sole supplier: Rheinmetall has the rights to their system that is installed in FUCH ABC search vehicles and does not use distribution or sales partners.
