Description
Dublin City Council gives notice to invoke Article 32.2 (b) for a derogation from tendering where the works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator. Dublin City Council intend to award a contract to Brightly Software Ltd. The contract involves the provision of support services relating to Software and Service Support for the Dublin City Council Confirm Enterprise Transportation Asset Management System (TAMS). The Confirm Software is a proprietary system which Brightly Software Ltd own and hold the Intellectual Property Rights for. The provision of an enterprise asset management system for Dublin City Council was subject of a tender process in 2014 and the Confirm system was implemented by the successful tenderer at that time. For details of the services to be covered by this support contract please see section 5.1. Dublin City Council intends to award the contract to cover the software licence period 2025 with the option to extend by 12 months to end of 2026 at a value of €615,000.
