Description
The National Archives requires external support to coordinate and manage the scheduling and uploading of digital content across its social media platforms (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) While content creation will be led internally, this role will ensure consistent and timely publication, maintain a digital content calendar, and support the Public Services team in delivering an online presence which will to engage the public, share archival resources, and highlight institutional initiatives. The need for external support is amplified by the significant demands arising from the launch of the 1926 Census in April 2026, which will be accompanied by a major public engagement programme. This programme will generate a high volume of digital content and require coordinated scheduling across multiple platforms and audiences. Following the April release of the 1926 Census there is a multi-year programme of commemorations and activities throughout the remainder of 2026, 2027 and 2028.
