Description

The system to be acquired must generate different types of flows, allow the acquisition of related data, and analyze them. Therefore, the system must features a modular and scalable fan-matrix architecture, enabling the simulation of spatially and temporally variable velocity profiles through the adjustment of the individual fans. In terms of general configuration, the wind tunnel must be composed of a series of independent blocks, each with its own load-bearing structure, mounted on wheels, and equipped with quick-connect couplings to allow rapid assembly or reconfiguration to achieve the desired test configuration. Specifically, the system must include: Ventilation wall: must be composed of ventilation modules containing small counter-rotating fans that allow precise local adjustment. Flow straightener, for turbulence reduction and flow velocity profile uniformization. Two interchangeable test sections consisting of a convergent section + test section with transparent walls and lower slots to facilitate observation and visual inspection, as well as to allow the insertion of instrumentation.
