Description

This is a Contract Award Notice to communicate a contract award made by the Authority, Thurrock Alliance on behalf of NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board, (hereinafter referred to as "the Authority") in compliance with their local standing financial instructions (SFIs). This Contract Award is made by the Authority to the 27 General Practitioner (GP) providers within the Thurrock geographical footprint for the provision of Locally Enhanced Services (LES). The provision of Locally Enhanced Services to include: - 24 Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring - Gonadorelin Analogue Injections - Minor Injury Services - Phlebotomy - Secondary & Community Care Wound Management Services - Non Scalpel Vasectomy Service (NSV) - 24 Hour Electrocardiogram - Shared Care - Anticoagulation (Warfarin) The Authority has taken the decision to award this Locally Enhanced Service (which was previously commissioned for NHS Thurrock CCG) to the 27 incumbent General Practitioner (GP) providers. As of July 2022, the Integrated Care Board (ICB) superseded the previous 5 CCGs within Mid and South Essex. NHS Mid and South Essex ICB is currently undergoing an organisational restructure…
