Description
Temporary Site Services — Barbican Renewal Programme. Site-wide temporary site services for the refurbishment of the existing, occupied Barbican Centre, let under a Construction Management approach with Blue Sky Building appointed as Construction Manager. The Contractor shall design (where required), supply, install, maintain, modify and ultimately remove all temporary site services supporting the site establishment and logistics set-up. Electrical scope comprises temporary distribution systems, boards, cabling, containment and sub-mains, power to all work areas including welding supplies and battery charging stations, and vertical and horizontal distribution to the hoists, tower crane, scaffolding/Haki staircases and the temporary stairs, walkways and loading platforms associated with TP1200. Lighting comprises safe access, emergency escape route, staircase, external, public-route and hoarding/fencing security lighting, with task lighting by others.
