Barbican Renewal Programme - Construction logistics services. • Site-wide construction logistics service supporting the refurbishment of the existing, occupied Barbican Centre, let as a Trade Contract under a Construction Management approach with Blue Sky Building appointed as Construction Manager. The logistics strategy continues to be developed alongside the programme, design and possession strategy. • Logistics management and labour: Logistics Manager, supervisors, general logistics operatives, traffic marshals/banksmen, hoist/lift operators, slingers/signallers, gatemen/security, welfare/cleaning staff, fire marshals and out-of-hours/weekend cover. • Site accommodation and welfare: survey of the existing accommodation/welfare facilities for re-use, adaptation and ongoing operation for the project duration, assessed against condition, capacity, servicing and the anticipated workforce/programme, with any additional temporary accommodation identified. • Site security and access control: hoarding and temporary fencing, pedestrian/vehicle gates, turnstiles, access-control systems, CCTV/security interfaces and visitor management. • Traffic and delivery management: delivery booking sy…
