Denna prekvalificering avser isoleringsarbeten vid Kraftvärmeverket i Västerås samt vid Mälarenergis övriga produktionsanläggningar i Västerås med omnejd. Uppdrag kan även förekomma vid Beställarens vattenkraftstationer. Uppskattningsvis 90 % av den totala omfattningen avser Kraftvärmeverket. Merparten av uppdragen avser värmeisolering och gäller både förebyggande och avhjälpande underhåll men mindre nyanläggningsarbeten och ombyggnad kan förekomma.
