Vaxholms Stad inbjuder med detta till att lämna anbud avseende Renovering av Vaxholms kaj, krönbalksentreprenaden för permanent spont innefattande området från norra hörnet Etapp 1 till Cronhamnstorg. Denna entreprenad planeras påbörja första kvartalet 2024 med planerat färdigställande andra kvartalet 2025, enligt angivna instruktioner i det strukturerade upphandlingsdokumentet med tillhörande bilagor och i enlighet med lagen (2016:1145) om offentlig upphandling (LOU). Bakgrund Kajerna i Vaxholm har byggts ut i två etapper. Den första delen stod klar 1936. Den nuvarande utformningen av kajen byggdes i slutet av 60-talet och invigdes 1969. Den förväntade livslängden på utbyggnaden från 1969 var 50 år. De senaste åren har återkommande sättningar i marken på närliggande gator indikerat behov av renovering. Vaxholms stad har låtit utföra en geoteknisk undersökning av kajerna i Söderhamnen och Österhamnen – från gästhamnen till Cronhamnsplan. Undersökningen ger en bild över kajernas nuvarande skick och ligger till grund för fortsatt projektering och renovering.
