Description
Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS) är en statlig förvaltningsmyndighet med uppdrag att utföra individuell vård av ungdomar och vuxna missbrukare. Myndigheten har tjugoen (21) särskilda ungdomshem med drygt 700 platser och elva (11) LVM-hem med knappt 400 platser för vård av vuxna missbrukare. SiS-hemmen är placerade över hela landet. Vården sker oftast utan den enskildes samtycke med stöd av lagen (1990:52) med särskilda bestämmelser om vård av unga (LVU) och lagen (1988:870) om vård av missbrukare i vissa fall (LVM). Vid de särskilda ungdomshemmen vårdas även ungdomar som av allmän domstol dömts till sluten ungdomsvård. Vården sker i dessa fall enligt lagen (1998:603) om verkställighet av sluten ungdomsvård (LSU). SiS genomför en upphandling av ett basutbud av kläder och skor till de ungdomar och klienter som vårdas hos SiS. Syftet med upphandlingen är inte att införa någon enhetlig klädsel för ungdomar och klienter. Syftet är inte heller att upphandla kläder som ska vara kundspecifika för SiS genom att exempelvis bära någon särskild logotyp kopplat till SiS.
