Description

EirGrid would like to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of sustainability consultancy services. EirGrid’s Sustainability Strategy is a cornerstone of its overall strategy, aimed at transforming Ireland’s electricity system to meet climate action goals and support a low-carbon future. EirGrid is working to decarbonise the grid to meet Irish Government targets for 80 percent of our electricity to come from renewable sources, requiring significant infrastructure upgrades, technological innovation, and enhanced interconnectivity with neighbouring grids. Alongside these large strategic projects, EirGrid has adopted science-based targets, is implementing sustainable procurement practices, and is aligning its reporting with EU sustainability directives, like CSRD.  EirGrid requires the support of expert consulting services to provide strategic Sustainability / ESG advisory input across areas such as best practice and thought leadership, compliance, risk, reporting and data, targets, analysis and measurement, sustainability projects and programmes.
