Description
Kommunens rekommendationer avseende fordon och hållbarhet är att kommunens samtliga bilar ska vara försedda med utrustning för digital körjournal. Medarbetarna befrias från ansvaret att föra körjournal vilket kommer att frigöra tid som idag läggs på administration. Ett system för digital fordonsförvaltning med körjournal kommer att ge förvaltningarna kraftigt ökade möjligheter att följa upp fordonen. Ansvarig(a) personer (verksamhetschefer och fordonssamordnare) kan exempelvis följa upp körmönster och nyttjandegrad. Nyttjandegraden kan påvisa huruvida enheten har över- eller underkapacitet i fordonsparken. Detta i sin tur kan medföra att enheten minskar antalet fordon och på så sätt minskar sina omkostnader eller att enheten utökar med fordon för att anställda inte ska nyttja privata bilar och belasta ekonomin och miljön. Att i realtid kunna lokalisera var ett fordon som blivit stulet eller gått sönder befinner sig skulle öka säkerheten. Verksamheten har identifierat en ekonomisk vinning över tid att slippa installera alkolås i bilarna, och istället placera alkolåset på digitala skåp där nycklarna hämtas ut.
