Description
El objetivo de la presente convocatoria de licitación consiste en identificar a un licitador con el fin de combinar conocimientos especializados en el ámbito de las ciencias del bienestar animal (etología, ciencias de los animales) y el análisis del comportamiento (análisis del comportamiento experimental y aplicado, farmacología conductual) para desarrollar una metodología científicamente sólida para evaluar las preferencias y la elección de los animales («preguntando al animal»), evaluar las propiedades reforzadas de estas preferencias y utilizar el punto de vista del animal expresado por esas opciones para desarrollar indicadores de bienestar positivo de los animales en granjas. Un segundo objetivo es recomendar una metodología para evaluar el efecto de los aditivos para piensos sobre el bienestar animal, por ejemplo, aplicando protocolos experimentales aplicados en farmacología conductual al efecto de sustancias (drogas o sustancias dietéticas) sobre el comportamiento.
