Description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (‘DAFM’) is inviting tender submissions for funding for projects promoting children’s and young person’s safety on farms. To promote best practice and bring about behavioural changes to minimise the risks to the safety of children and young persons on farms, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) is inviting tenders for the provision of a children’s and young person’s farm safety initiative. DAFM is inviting applications/tender submissions from groups and organisations, that have the capability and vision, to develop and deliver projects which address children’s and young person’s safety on Irish farms by assisting Secondary School teachers in educating their students about the potential dangers associated with farming and agriculture. The projects must be delivered by November 2026. The projects will be funded under the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine’s dedicated Farm Safety budget.
