Description
The purpose of this competition is to procure a neutral vendor with specialist subcontractor suppliers to support the Government Digital Service (GDS) Contingent Workforce Programme in the delivery of a Contingent Workforce to GDS and the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO). The GDS Contingent Workforce Programme is responsible for the end-to-end process for all Contingent Labour engagements for temporary contingent workers; independent contractors and temporary staff augmentation. Given the competitiveness of the Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) market, GDS relies upon a proportion of its workforce being contingent in order to deliver new digital services, as well as being able to efficiently run and maintain existing services. Without a thriving contingent workforce, GDS would not be able to meet all of its organisational objectives. The GDS Contingent Workforce is dynamic and diverse, which is helped by worker classifications set by the Contingent Workforce Programme.
