Title: SEND Commissioning Lead Contract Type: Temporary Hours: 37 Hours Location: Sandwell/Hybrid Day Rate ?600+ Insert Brief Job Summary: You will be expected to describe the role within a few bullet points o To lead on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of services for SEND and Alternative Provision o To ensure that service development and redesign is undertaken to improve outcomes for children and young people in Sandwell o To ensure that provision utilised by Sandwell for SEND/AP is of a good standard and meets the needs of children and young people and support the commissioning of complex placements o To lead on the development of SEND commissioning plans and strategies, working with colleagues from across Children's Services, the Council and partners. o To support colleagues across the partnerships and strategic commissioning team to ensure that services are commissioned that support SEND o Support the development of specialist SEND places across Sandwell and lead of the management of the SEND capital grant …
