Description
The Warm Homes: Local Grant Programme (WH:LG) is a UK Government funded Scheme to deliver energy efficiency building fabric and low carbon heating improvements (measures) to households living in poorly performing homes (Energy Performance Certificate rating of D or below) across England. The scheme will deliver upgrades to eligible Applicants in both privately owned properties and privately rented properties, both on and off the gas grid. Applicants can be homeowners or tenants. Devon County Council (DCC) are delivering this scheme on behalf of the following Local Authorities in Devon: East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, Teignbridge, Torbay and Torridge (The Consortium). DCC is a Grant Recipient within the terms of the Scheme. The £5.25m WH:LG Programme will run from April 2025 to April 2028 and has a target of delivering retrofit to c200 properties across the Local Authority areas listed above. The properties being treated under this Scheme may include detached / semi-detached / terraced houses, bungalows, park homes and low-rise flats.
