Description
The Council is seeking to award a call-off contract for the supply of goods associated with the provision of Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI), under Crown Commercial Service Framework RM6347, Transport Technology, Lot 8e. The call-off has been awarded using the Framework's Award Without Competition (AWOC) procedure. In accordance with the Framework call-off provisions, the Council considered the Award Without Competition Full Service Offers available under the relevant Lot and assessed those offers against its defined requirements. The Council's requirement is for goods that are capable of operating within, and maintaining interoperability with, the existing Real Time Passenger Information environment utilised by surrounding local authorities. These neighbouring authorities operate within an established Journeo environment, including an operational back-office system. Passenger transport services operate across local authority boundaries and the respective systems are required to exchange and process real-time passenger information across those boundaries.
