North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is a new Unitary authority that came into existence on Thursday, 1st April 2021 following the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019 The new Unitary authority has combined the legacy District and Borough Council areas of Corby, East Northamptonshire (Thrapston), Kettering, and Wellingborough, along with the County Council functions of those areas, into a single authority. The current population of the authority is 350,500. The primary purpose of this expression of interest (EOI) is to inform the markets of prospective opportunities in connection with the NNC Children's Services, specifically Education, and to seek feedback. North Northamptonshire Council is committed to 'Better, Brighter Futures', ensuring every child has equal access to a good standard of education and using technology to make a real difference. The Education service was originally a County-wide service and is now operated independently by both North and West Northamptonshire Council's serving their own communities. The legacy Case Management System has been split between the 2 councils still on a joint contract, with the contract coming to an end in March 2024. …
