Expression of interest for an individual placement We are looking for an experienced, specialist provider who can support an individual placement within a short time frame. The service provider should have extensive experience with supporting people with very high complex needs and able to provide the support in either a supported living environment (with accommodation) or residential provision. Attached is a detailed pen picture of the person who requires support. However, as an overview the provider/staff must: o Have specialist training and knowledge of Autism and Learning disability o Experience in supporting people who display behaviours perceived as challenging o Have specialist trained staff in PBS, high level restraint (as a last resort) de-escalation techniques o Ethos of least restrictive practice The person requires: o a single occupancy dwelling (whether residential or supported living) o level access accommodation (I.e. a bungalow), open plan with wet room o semi-rural local ideally in or around the Stourbridge and Dudley area Please read the attached specification thoroug…
