Description
London Underground Limited (LUL), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transport for London (TfL), the statutory corporation responsible for the transport network in London. London Underground Limited (LUL) engineering and maintenance is managed by Transport for London (TfL), the public body running the Tube, with the LUL Asset Performance Directorate overseeing the actual upkeep, renewal, and modernisation of its vast, historic infrastructure (tracks, signals, stations) using in-house teams and external specialist contractors. Railway carriages, wagons and engineering vehicles ('EV') are the principal part of London Underground ('LU') services assets. These assets require periodic maintenance and overhaul. This tender notice is being posted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 to invite bidders to express interest to participate in the following tender activity. London Underground Engineering Vehicles fleet requires strip and spray and bogie overhaul of 10 General Purpose (GP) Engineering Wagons to achieve a life extension of 8 years.
