Description

Design and Deploy a Digital Solution (DHUPHC funding) Dacorum Borough Council, on behalf of the SWH authorities wishes to explore the potential to design and deploy a digital solution to the consolidation of responses gathered from multiple digital media and platforms as well as emails and letters into a single, searchable database and to support the processing and reporting of those consultation responses. Local authorities have to produce a local plan to set the strategy for the growth and development of their area. The local authorities in South West Hertfordshire (SWH) are working together to prepare a Joint Strategic Plan (JSP). The JSP is one of the largest strategic plans being prepared nationally and comprises five local planning authorities, along with Hertfordshire County Council, all of which are actively embracing digital and innovative consultation approaches for local and strategic plans, with the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill providing significant support for digital disruption and transformation in planning.
