Description

Create Central is developing its Skills Accelerator programme, funded through the BFI Skills Cluster Fund, to increase the number of opportunities for people from across the West Midlands, specifically from underrepresented groups, to find employment or develop existing careers as below-the-line production crew working in the region. The key to increasing opportunities for those from underrepresented backgrounds is to authentically reach a diverse range of networks and communities outside of the mainstream media to ensure that as wide a range of people as possible are aware of Create Central's Skills Accelerator training programmes and wider opportunities. To this end, Create Central will need to work with a region-wide strategic organisation with significant experience in Outreach and Engagement (O&E), the ability to work across the whole of the West Midlands with access to networks and the mandate to represent a broad membership of creative and cultural organisations.
