Job Title: Commissioning Officer Rate of Pay: TBC Hours: 30 hours pw Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. Start Date: TBC Contract type: Agency Brief description: This role involves leading the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous review of services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those in Alternative Provision (AP) within the Sandwell area. The primary objective is to improve outcomes for children and young people by ensuring that the SEND/AP services and provisions meet high standards and effectively address their needs. The role also involves supporting strategic commissioning processes and overseeing the development of specialist SEND places, as well as managing the SEND capital grant.
