Description
The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a 'Chilled Water Cooling System ' on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. The AMRC has recently won HICOMS funding for an 'automated, large scale composites manufacturing centre', including a 'fully automated layup and consolidation cell' which will require a 'Chilled Water Cooling System'. The 'Chilled Water Cooling System' will sit adjacent to a new facility, feeding and controlling a chilled water ring main inside the building which may be used by the following equipment: - -Hydraulic Press -Resin Injection Unit -Tool Heating System - comprised of 8 individual temperature control units For the avoidance of doubt, this equipment does not form part of this tender exercise. The finished and equipped facility will be known as 'COMPASS'.
