Description
The Council wishes to Commission a Provider to deliver a programme of preventative support for carers of all ages which is embedded within local communities. This will be delivered by a partnership of organisations committed to supporting Carers and the wider community, a 'Carers Wellbeing Partnership' coordinated by a lead provider. The Carers Wellbeing Partnership will engage, influence, collaborate and work with other organisations, carers, employers and communities to deliver a broad range of interventions and sustainable support solutions that meet the needs of carers. The Provider shall support carers of all ages through the provision of preventative support embedded within local communities to live happy, healthy, independent and fulfilling lives. It will work with individuals and communities including social prescribers to build resilience and connections, creating networks of local support.
