Description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for the refurbishment of two WC areas. Scope of Requirement: The project comprises the refurbishment of WC areas throughout two buildings within the University of Sheffield's campus: Broad Lane Building, Broad Lane, Sheffield S1 4BT, and Portobello Centre, 1 Mappin St, Sheffield S1 4DT. The proposed works are to comprise the following: ⦁ M&E works to be carried out in accordance with A&P specifications. To include isolation of water supply and M&E services, and the removal and disposal of existing light fittings and hand dryers. ⦁ Strip-out and disposal of existing sanitary ware, including vanity units, IPS paneling, cubicles, basins, urinals, toilets, hand dryers and all other associated fixtures, fittings and pipework. ⦁ The careful removal and disposal of floor tiles, wall tiles and suspended ceilings. ⦁ The partial removal and disposal of solid masonry walls. ⦁ Making good and levelling of all disturbed surfaces associated with the strip-out. ⦁ The installation of new sanitary ware including vanity units, IPS panelling, cubicles, basins, urinals, toil…
