Kuvaus
The Tenderer is requested to submit a tender for a fully operational nanoindenter. The instrument will be used for precise measurements to the small-scale mechanical properties (e.g., hardness, modulus of elasticity and indentation depth) of soft or elastic biomaterials. The instrument will be used for precise measurements to the small-scale mechanical properties (e.g., hardness, modulus of elasticity and indentation depth) of soft or elastic biomaterials. The common tests that the instrument shall function for include indentation testing and mapping mechanical properties with scanning capacities. The indentation testing is functional both in air and in liquid medium environment. A temperature control unit is also important in the instrument configuration. The most common materials to be tested is thin film, coating, nanostructured materials, and biological samples. In addition to accuracy. the ease-of-use of the instrument operation (software and instructive materials) is also important.
