Skolverket har fått regeringens uppdrag att organisera och genomföra central rättning av nationella prov i engelska och svenska och svenska som andraspråk. Myndigheten avser att anlita externa leverantörer för att rekrytera bedömare och huvudbedömare som krävs för att genomföra uppdraget. Myndigheten avser att teckna avtal med maximalt 3 leverantörer under en avtalsperiod om maximalt 8 år. Uppskattat avtalsvärde är ca 90Msek/år.
