Description
Förhandlat förfarande utan föregående annonsering av uppgradering av befintlig elektronmikroskoputrustning från företaget Thermo Fisher Scientific. Umeå universitet har sedan tidigare år 2016/2017 upphandlat Cryo-EM och cellulär volym imaging från Thermo Fisher Scientific till ett värde av 45 MSEK samt år 2022 införskaffat ytterligare Cryo-EM instrument och ny detektor via upphandling till ett värde av 30 MSEK. Införskaffat utrustning behöver nu uppgraderas med följande: (i) uppgradera Scanning elektronmikroskopet (i) Scios/Aquilos till version Aquilos2, (ii) uppgraderas befintligt SEM med kapacitet för elektronlitografi, och (iii) uppgradera en cryo-EM detektor med kapacitet för snabbare datalagring, ett system som kallas ”speed enhancement”. De uppdragering som är kompatibel med befintlig utrustning kan enbart tillhandahållas av Thermo Fisher Scientific. För att kunna behåll befintlig utrustning är en uppdragering det bästa möjliga alternativt både hur ett ekonomiskt-, miljö- och arbetsrelaterat perspektiv.
