Region Västmanland har för avsikt att upphandla sitt löpande behov av tillsyn, skötsel och planerat underhåll samt felavhjälpande underhåll av hissystem, portar och rulltrappor samt besiktningspliktiga lyftobjekt. Upphandlingen avser för hela Region Västmanlands enheter i Västerås, Skultuna, Hallstahammar, Sala, Tärna folkhögskola, Köping, Kolsva, Arboga och Fagersta. Region Västmanland bedriver känslig verksamhet i form av akuta vårdinsatser, speciellt på Västerås sjukhus vid bland annat akuten, förlossningen och kirurgin. Det är av största vikt att anbudsgivaren där med klarar av snabba reparationer.
