Description
Transport Infrastructure Ireland (the “Authority”) wishes to establish a Qualification System for the procurement of external members of the MetroLink Programme Steering Committee (previously referred to as the MetroLink Delivery Oversight Group), a TII governance entity established to support the governance, oversight and delivery of MetroLink. MetroLink will be a transformative public transport infrastructure project and will be Dublin’s first metro railway. The system will offer a high-capacity, high-frequency metro railway with 16 new stations from Swords to Charlemont. It will interlink with multiple transport networks, including Dublin Airport, Irish Rail, Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART), Dublin Bus, and Luas, promoting a seamlessly integrated transport experience for the Greater Dublin Area. MetroLink due to its scale and complexity, requires governance arrangements which provide clarity on roles and responsibilities, accountability and the framework for effective and efficient decision-making and oversight.
