Description
MetroLink will provide a high speed, high capacity, high frequency, modern and efficient public transport service for passengers travelling along the Swords/Airport to City Centre corridor in Dublin, which will be capable of integration with other modes of public transport. Further information on MetroLink is available at www.metrolink.ie/ In advance of the MetroLink main infrastructure works contracts, TII will commence the procurement of the Enabling Works Programme. The Enabling Works Programme comprises of the establishment of a suite of framework agreements and qualification systems to select contractors to deliver enabling works in advance of the main infrastructure works contracts (in respect of civil engineering, tunnelling and station works). The enabling works will include the removal and/or relocation of existing utilities, archaeology, heritage items (for storage/replacement) and buildings from site and undertaking other survey activities.
