Ogranicznik przepięć jest to urządzenie wraz z podstawami izolacyjnymi, pierścieniami sterującymi oraz licznikami zadziałań przeznaczone dla obiektów elektroenergetycznych Zamawiającego. Przyszłe Zamówienia będą dotyczyły Fabrycznie Nowych Urządzeń przeznaczonych do montażu w sieci przesyłowej PSE S.A. w celu ograniczenia przepięć łączeniowych i atmosferycznych w nowo budowanych oraz modernizowanych lub rozbudowywanych stacjach elektroenergetycznych.
