Description

As follow-up of the ENSREG stress tests, the availability of an alternative cooling water supply system was identified as an important provision to improve safety at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant. Ensuring availability of environmentally qualified equipment, designed to provide water supply from alternative sources in case of Loss of Ultimate Heat Sink (LUHS), will improve the emergency preparedness for nuclear and radiological accidents.
