SMHIs uppdrag är att bidra till ett livskraftigt och säkrare samhälle, vilket ställer krav på god kommunikativ förmåga i hela verksamheten. Att förmedla kunskap och bygga relationer är centralt för att förverkliga SMHIs uppdrag. Vår verksamhet och kommunikation vilar på vetenskaplig grund, är välkänd och har ett högt förtroende hos allmänheten. SMHI vänder sig till stora delar av samhället och kommunicerar med både allmänna och specifika målgrupper i flera olika sammanhang, både brett och riktat. Kommunikation i digitala kanaler är centralt. SMHI har behov av en leverantör som kan bidra med insatser som långsiktigt ska stärka organisationens kommunikativa förmåga och öka värdet av kommunikationen. Behovet av stöd kan variera under avtalstiden, både innehålls-, typ- och volymmässigt. SMHI vill tillsammans med leverantören: Stärka berättelsen om hur SMHIs kunskap bidrar till ett livskraftigt och säkrare samhälle. Förädla den digitala närvaron och upplevelsen. Stärka processer för strategisk kommunikation. Rusta experter, chefer och nyckelpersoner med hjälp av insatser för ökad kommunikativ förmåga. Utveckla stöd och verktyg.
