Description
Gran municipality invites tenderers to a tender contest for snow clearing and gritting on municipal roads, properties and open spaces. The framework agreement shall start as soon as possible and throughout the spring 2027 season, with an option for an extension of one year at a time, up to a total duration of eight years. The aim of the competition is primarily to snow clearing - there may be a need to gritting, but this only occurs when called out by the supervisor or unit manager. In 2022 the competition was divided into five lots (sub-contracts), with the opportunity to submit tender offers on one or more of the lots. Area five Bjoneroa is now re-announced. The deadline is shorter than the requirement in the procurement regulations, as the municipality faces acute need to ensure snow clearing and winter maintenance before the season starts. Weather prognoses and previous experience suggest that winter may come early, and a lack of stand-by can lead to danger to life and health, as well as significant operational disruptions in municipal services.
