Description
Linköpings kommun använder idag Mikromarc i gymnasieskolornas skolbibliotek och Book-IT i grundskolornas skolbibliotek. De skolor som inte har fackutbildad bibliotekarie använder Freelib. Upphandlingen syftar till att ersätta dessa system med ett nytt system anpassat för skolbibliotek och som kan användas i samtliga skolbibliotek av såväl bibliotekarier, lärare och annan personal som elever. Målet är ett avtal för en kommunlicens för ett skolbibliotekssystem som tjänst för Linköpings kommuns kommunala grundskolor, gymnasieskolor och vuxenutbildning. Två skolbibliotek i grundskolan fungerar också som folkbibliotek och kommer av det skälet inte använda det nya systemet initialt. I uppdraget ingår förutom tjänsten för skolbibliotekssystemet även integration med kommunens elevregister, utbildning av användare och ett införandeprojekt där data från de befintliga skolbibliotekssystemen migreras till det nya systemet. Linköpings kommun har idag 5 kommunala gymnasieskolbibliotek som använder Mikromarc och 22 grundskoleskolbibliotek som använder Book-IT.
