Upphandlingen syftar till att teckna ramavtal för tekniska konsulttjänster avseende utsättning och inmätning inkl vissa andra arbetsuppgifter i anslutning till mätningsuppdragen. Upphandlingen genomförs gemensamt av de kommunala förvaltningarna Stadsmiljöförvaltningen, Exploateringsförvaltningen och Kretslopp och Vatten. Efter avslutad upphandling kommer respektive förvaltning att teckna separata ramavtal med antagna anbudsgivare.
