Description
Limerick City and County Council, on behalf of the Southern Regional Waste Management Planning Office (RWMPO), are seeking tenders for the provision of services associated with the collection, treatment and recycling/recovery of household hazardous wastes at three locations, one per waste region, in September 2024. The proposed locations for the collection of household hazardous waste collection are as follows: • Connacht Ulster Waste Region – Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. • Eastern Midlands Waste Region –Wicklow Town • Southern Waste Region - Tralee The aim of these pilots is to better inform the development and roll-out of a separate nationwide collection system for household hazardous waste in 2025.
