Description
Oslo municipality has developed a micro energy system at Furuset. The aim of the project is to demonstrate a new methodology for organising the energy system where local interaction between production and consumption, digitalisation and overall infrastructure development is central. The background for the project is to respond to future challenges in the energy system connected to an increasing energy and effect need, as well as an increasing share of renewable and non-adjustable energy production. The proposed demonstrated systems can potentially give increased flexibility in the network and are real alternatives to expensive investments in upgrades to the current electrical infrastructure. The project is being held as a large-scale demonstration of a micro energy system at Furuset. Hafslund Celsio is the project manager, while The Climate Agency has a coordinating role in keeping progress in the project.
