Description

Scope of the Contract Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified organisation(s) / individual(s) to help support and forge better relationships and understanding between our younger and older generations. To provide valuable opportunities for older generations to have a sense of purpose and value within society, whilst helping to support younger generations with vital knowledge and information gained through life experience. It also acknowledges the rapidly increasing demographic of older people within our Borough. The tender response must address the following areas/issues: • Difficult relationships between younger and older generations. • Skills and innovation gaps between younger and older generations. • The loss of important societal factors such as values, morals and ethics. • Isolation and loneliness experienced by both younger and older generations. • Ease the lack of understanding between different generations. • Help address the lack of volunteers who have been trained to help support and mentor others. • Help address the over-reliance on the NHS mental health infrastructure.
