Description
Copenhagen Metro is inviting to participation in a market dialogue with potential interested contractors with interest in a dialogue regarding the construction of a new metro line in Copenhagen. The new line could be approx. 15.7 km long standalone metro line with up to 10 stations, some underground and some elevated. Some stations and part of the line will be underground in existing dense city environment and some will be in new city districts that are not yet developed. The line is expected to be built in stages. The first stage could open in 2035 and would consist approx. 8 km of line with 6-7 stations. The second stage is assumed to be inaugurated in 2045. The project includes construction of tunnels, underground stations and shafts, mechanical and electrical works, elevated sections and stations, ramps, architectural finishes etc. Copenhagen Metro has set the following 4 project goals for the project: • Reduce the use of resources and climate impact: Metroselskabet has an ambition to reduce the carbon footprint from future metro lines with 50% compared to the existing metro. • Improve passenger experience and operational robustness It is important to make the public tran…
