Dear potential tenderer, Following our initial information meeting in the spring, we are pleased to inform you that the M5 Metro Line project has now moved further in our strategic planning. We are therefore ready to invite you to a new information meeting to share the latest updates and outline the forthcoming process. The goal of the M5 is to provide efficient, sustainable public transport to both existing urban areas currently without metro service (particularly on Amager) and new urban development zones, including the East Harbour (Kløverparken, Refshaleøen, and Lynetteholm). The M5 will also offer a new cross-harbour connection. Project overview: Approx. 15.7 km standalone metro line with up to 9 stations (underground and elevated) Stage 1: ~6 km bored twin tunnel with 5 underground stations, ~2 km of viaducts, and 1 elevated station Civil Works scope: tunnels, underground stations and shafts, mechanical and electrical works, elevated sections and stations, ramps, architectural finishes etc. Transportation System scope: rolling stock, SCADA, signalling, passenger information system, power supply, control and maintenance centre etc. Stage 1 opening: 2036 (procurement expected t…
