Description
IKTNH shall hold a tender contest for the delivery of network equipment and software. The municipalities of Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Fedje, Gulen, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Vaksdal and Sveio have established a joint ICT operations company, IKT Nordhordland municipal co-operation (IKTNH). IKTNH has entered into operational cooperation with Etne, Tysnes and Vindafjord. These municipalities have partnered with IKTNH in this tender competition. The objective of this procurement is to establish a future orientated, robust and secure network infrastructure that efficiently supports our needs. We look for systems that ensure a high degree of availability, flexibility and performance for our services, while strengthening our network security and creating better control over connected devices and resources. The procurement shall contribute to reducing operational complexity and personal dependency through standardisation and increased automation.
