Region Dalarna avser att ingå avtal med Topcon Scandinavia AB avseende inköp av en OCT Triton-kamera till Ögonmottagningens jourrum vid Falu lasarett. Avtalet innehåller en option om att köpa ytterligare en kamera under 2026. Motivering till direktupphandling: Samtliga ögonmottagningar inom Region Dalarna använder idag OCT Triton från Topcon tillsammans med mjukvaran Imagenet för bildhantering, bedömning och uppföljning av ögonsjukdomar. Imagenet är en proprietär mjukvara som endast kan importera och hantera bilddata från Topcons egna OCT-kameror. Att använda en kamera av annat fabrikat skulle innebära att patientens ögonförändringar inte kan följas upp eller jämföras med tidigare och framtida bilder, vilket skulle försämra både diagnostik och behandling. För att säkerställa kontinuitet i patientuppföljningen och kompatibilitet med befintlig utrustning är det därför nödvändigt att upphandla en kamera från samma tillverkare.
