Description

ACTRIS Sweden is the Swedish node of the pan-European research infrastructure ACTRIS (Aerosol, Clouds, Trace gases Research Infrastructure) – a research infrastructure in the ESFRI environmental domain. In addition to equip and establish a number of stationary sites, ACTRIS Sweden is developing a state-of-the-art mobile In-Situ Exploratory platform for observing aerosols and reactive trace gases, designed for both long-term and campaign-based measurements. To conduct online chemical analysis of atmospheric particles and gases, five mass spectrometers capable of performing these measurements are required. Three mass spectrometers will be more advanced units that will be dedicated to the mobile platform, while two of the stationary sites will be equipped with aerosol mass spectrometers suitable for monitoring.
